Tenecé Professional Services, for the past ten years, has lived up to its reputation of being a multi-competency enterprise transformation and technology consulting services firm, that specializes in delivering technology solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
Founded and led by CEO Mr. Kingsley Eze, Tenecé has combined expertise and capabilities of over 40 years from various sectors of the economy to deliver superior value to its clients —both in the private and public sectors — and build high-performance enterprises. One of its major contributions is in the education sector, which has positioned Tenecé as a stakeholder in Academia. Well known for successfully developing and deploying its enterprise school management solutions throughout Nigeria, Tenecé holds a record of 20 higher institutions using its home-grown proprietary product, School Manager. The journey in the education sector started in South Eastern Nigeria, with track record history of understanding the gaps in the sector and developing bespoke solutions as well as providing jobs to thousands of Nigerians.
In the same vein, its passion for youth empowerment led to the development of the Genesys Tech Hub, which, according to His Excellency Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice president of Nigeria, is the largest innovation and tech hub in the country. The idea of Genesys was hatched by Tenecé five years ago and has since moved to fruition by taking batches of interns from schools all around the country, as well as graduate interns, each year for the past three years, to groom and train them, by providing the conducive environment much needed. Another part of Genesys idea is to give a platform to talented youths in the South East to present their ideas and for Tenecé to incubate and fund these ideas to see them to fruition.
This is the aim of Genesys Ignite, set to hold its second leg this year. However, the ultimate goal is to disrupt the education system in Nigeria by introducing an updated working curriculum to the higher institutions. Over the years, Tenecé Group has also strengthened its involvement in corporate social responsibilities. It is evident that in the past years, the management of the company have actively gotten involved in sponsoring the less Privileged Children and youths around Nigeria to gain education by offering them full scholarships. In 2016, Tenecé introduced the full scholarship programme through her “Tenecé Technology Development Scholarship Scheme” for academic excellence to students of tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The company pays full tuition and provide stipend for books for the beneficiaries of the scholarship who have distinguished themselves in academic performance, in a bid to promote development in the field of science and technology – with particular emphasis on Information Communications Technology and Engineering.
In 2018, Tenecé sponsored the Students Union Government (SUG) week for the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), Students Union Government (SUG) week for Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT), and the National Association Of Computer Science Students Conference with the theme “Network security and Cryptograpy” at the Ebonyi State University (EBSU).
Another key CSR area that Tenecé has focused efforts in is the retention of corps members at the company. Recognizing that the NYSC is a key youth empowerment tool, Tenecé has maintained a 96% National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) member retention rate. This is done by reserving a quota for the yearly NYSC in-take program, and afterwards absorbing them into its workforce, thereby reducing unemployment in Nigeria. The companies provision for staff training (compulsorily every staff is sent on one training course in his/her field, yearly) certainly extends to the corps members attached to the firm. This gesture ensures that the corps member is further groomed within the service year, so much so that it becomes almost impossible to let them go.
While reflecting on how Tenecé has impacted society, we also are grateful for the achievements and milestones the company has seen over the years. Some of these notable achievements are: eTranzact award of Loyalty 2011, DataGroupIT 2013 Partner of the Year Award, Oracle Most Active “Partner in Impact” award in 2015 and the Imperva Partner of the Year in 2014 and 2017.
Tenecé Group’s large clientele also says a lot about its competence, growing its reputation in FINTECH, Education, Financial Advisory, Software Engineering, Communication Technology, e-Business development, Government Transformations (e-Government), Systems Integration, IT Consulting, Process Re-engineering, manufacturing and lots more. The Group can also boast of branches in major cities in Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and India, as well as numerous successful verticals.
Tenecé Group will not be where it is without the amazing team of staff who worked tirelessly since day one to make sure each new day is better than the last.
All these, and much more, make both the staff and the clients of Tenecé Professional Services glad to see it celebrate its tenth year of excellence. Congratulations!
